Inspection of Pratten Park. Report received.
Tennis Club: Shade structure torn in the corner, too loose.
Perimeter brick wall to be allocated a higher priority.
Canteen: Grills are dislodged – upstairs above the canteen.
Scoreboard to be checked if it is working.
WiFi or 3G should be available in Thirning Villa and Ashfield District Historical Society.
Peter Cormican will request advice from IT Department.
Grandstand – Sensor Lights not working.
Ashfield & District Historical Society. Offer to purchase silver trowel use in laying the foundation stone. Wests Leagues were able to make the purchase for $850.
Cleaners set the alarm off in Thirning Villa.
Western Suburbs Lawn Tennis Club.
Community Building Partnership Grant to replace net posts with moveable posts was successful and that work should be finished in the next month.
Membership is lower than this time last year. Spring Badge will commence on 14 September
Holding a fundraising BBQ at Bunnings Ashfield on Sunday 22 September.
Green Options – courts are in excellent condition.
Western Suburbs District Cricket Club.
Thanks to Green Options for the work on the oval.
Higher fence required between Pratten Park Bowling Club and the oval.
Battle of the Smashes will be held at Pratten Park on Sunday 20 October.
Local combined schools v Wests.
Pratten Park Bowling Club.
Thanks to Ashfield Council for organising grant application for irrigation of the Bowling Club.
Installed tanks to collect water from the gutters as an interim measure, due to the increases in Sydney Water fees by $200.
Quotations are being obtained for roof replacement options.
Replacement of roof in colour bond would cost around $100,000.
Twenty five tiles replaced at the end of the season.
Social membership has grown to 600 members.
Canterbury District Soccer Football Club.
Season over and finished with a membership of 4,300.
Toilet Block – larger signage on the wall would be appreciated.
Timer for Park Lights. Could the timer be reset at 10pm it is cutting out at 9.50pm.
Grandstand stairs need to be painted yellow along the edge for safety.
Light switch is faulty on the north side.
